December 2014 ~ We haven't been able to show for a little while, but we are still getting out there occasionally! Rufus, Abby and Charlie have been out in the ring and we have had great fun! November 2012 ~ Our next showing adventure will be in Fitchburg, MA. The show runs from 11/31/12 through 12/2/12 beginning with a dachshund specialty on 11/31! We will be showing Chopper and Abby! July 2011 ~ Our next show will be 7/24/11 at the Dachshund Specialty in Albany, NY!! 5/22/11 ~ Jethro and Abby began their show careers at the Vacationland Cluster in Scarborough, ME. What a great time we had! On Thursday, Jethro took winner's dog and Abby took winners bitch and best of variety! Friday, Abby took winner's bitch and Jethro took winner's dog, best of variety, best bred by exhibitor, and placed 3rd in the bred by exhibitor hound group! Friday, Abby took reserve to a beautiful standard bitch and Chopper took winner's dog and best of opposite over a gorgeous standard special! 7/8/09 ~ Some exciting happenings at Doxy Den. We attended the West Springfield, MA show and We got all first and second place ribbons but no points. Guess we can't win them all. It was T-Bone's first show and he did amazing! He walked great and even stood well for the judge! Way to go T-Bone! I see another winner in our future! 6/15/09 ~ Chopper had an AMAZING weekend!! He took winner's dog and best of winners both days for 2 points on Sunday and a 3 point major on Saturday!!! My oldest daughter, Elizabeth, took him into the ring for me and it was her first time showing! How amazing is that! She did a wonderful job! My girl, Ella, didn't fare as well. It was her first show and she got spooked, but we will work with her some more and see if she has showing in her blood! 5/21/09 ~ Chopper's picture is finally here from Acton! It looks wonderful! Chopper's next show is June 13th and 14th in Topsfield, MA and Ella will be joining him in the ring. We hope to have a major there. Then June 20th and 21st we will be in Cumberland, ME! Wish us luck! 5/3/09 ~ What a weekend!!! Chopper took Winners Dog, Best of Winners and Best of Breed on BOTH 5/2/09 AND 5/3/09 in Acton Maine!! Way to go Chopper!!!!!
